Meet the Founder
The idea for Bookdizzle started with a phone call Craig Lee didn't want to make.
He needed a doctor's appointment, and he dreaded two things: being left on hold, and going to the doctor. He spent that whole night thinking about it. There had to be a better way to book a simple appointment without a phone call, a hold line, or a wasted afternoon.
Craig learned early that great service is everything. He started in car sales, where every customer's time mattered and every missed call was a missed opportunity. Then he went into business for himself. In 2005 he opened Fusion Tan in Burlington, Kentucky, and built it into a thriving walk-in salon. He started planning an online booking service called AppointmentPal, and then 2008 hit. The economy crashed, and the idea went on the shelf.
A few years later Craig opened Salon Essence Hair and Spa, and that's where he saw the problem up close. The phone rang mid-appointment, no-shows wiped out whole afternoons, and loyal clients meant to rebook but forgot. Every empty slot on the schedule cost money, and every missed call could cost a client.
Later, Craig went into real estate and closed over $20 million in sales by putting his clients first. Through all of it, the AppointmentPal dream never left him.
More than 20 years later, it's finally real. Bookdizzle is the tool Craig wished he'd had at Salon Essence: easy online booking with no hold music, reminder texts, protection from no-shows, and one flat monthly price with no contracts and never a commission.
Craig built Bookdizzle for owners like the one he used to be, and for every customer who would rather tap a button than sit on hold. And if you ever do call, he'll actually answer.
